STAGES OF THE WORK
1. Inspection and Preparation
We analyse the type of wood, its state of deterioration and any previous treatments. Teak, Iroko, Larch, WPC: each type of wood has its own specific requirements.
2. Deep Cleaning
We carry out the work using professional-grade machinery. We use Manzoni-brand degreasing detergents, formulated to dissolve organic dirt, algae and residues of old oils without damaging the wood. The result is wood that is thoroughly clean yet remains intact.
3. Controlled Drying
We rinse and neutralise any product residues so as not to compromise future protection. We adhere to the wood’s technical drying times. Rushing this stage is the first mistake.
5. Protective Treatment
We apply the treatment based on our assessment and the client’s preferences.
A suitable treatment nourishes the wood, makes it water-repellent and protects it from UV rays. It preserves the warm, natural colour for a long time, drastically slowing down the onset of greying.
